AI visibility tracking: questions and answers
- What does AI visibility tracking measure?
- For each configured prompt and AI provider, LLM Scan records successful answers and analyzes brand mentions, position, cited URLs, and competing brands. Failed provider requests are reported as failures and are not counted as zero visibility.
- Does LLM Scan automatically choose the prompts?
- No. You select and manage the questions that reflect your customers, market, language, and buying intent. A monitored domain can exist without an AI visibility prompt set.
- Which AI providers can I track?
- The product currently supports ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. Plan limits and workspace configuration determine which providers are available to a specific account.
- Does tracking guarantee better AI rankings or citations?
- No. LLM Scan measures sampled answers for configured prompts and helps identify opportunities. AI providers change their answers, and the product cannot guarantee rankings, mentions, citations, or traffic outcomes.
